A note about Home Learning Grids:
Following a survey we sent out around 18 months ago, we recognise and understand that family life is busy and therefore the home learning activities, which aim to offer a creative spin and exploration beyond learning in the classroom are optional. They are designed so that children complete one activity every couple of weeks. There will be opportunities for children to showcase their home learning during the following weeks as indicated on the grids. We do not expect families to spend money on resources for these activities – the simpler, the better!

If you want to see the top-level view of what your child studies across the entire academic year and across every subject, please hover over the ‘Curriculum’ menu on our main school website and select your child’s year group. You will then see the option for ‘Year Group Overview’.
We are very lucky to have a wide-ranging curriculum here at St Nicholas that has a clear focus of breadth and depth of knowledge and concepts.
