As a church school we work closely with Lichfield Diocese to continually develop and celebrate our Anglican and Christian distinctiveness. All diocesan schools undergo a Statutory Inspection, this is called a SIAMs inspection. Our last report can be read below.
As a school we will always notify you of school events and church events that will be of interest to you and your family. Rev Marg is a regular visitor to our school and leads worship with children throughout the year and with families at key festivals. Throughout their time in school children regularly visit the school church, not only for church calendar events such as Christmas and Easter, but also to learn more about Christianity and rites of passage and to meet up with members of the parish community.
Regular Services at St. Nicholas and St. Peter’s

- Sunday’s 10am Communion Service continues online as well as in church.
- Wednesday’s 2-4pm Private Prayer. No booking necessary. Enjoy the quiet and peace of our church building
- Monday / Wednesday 7pm Evening Prayer online [Please email Revd. Marg at revmarg@outlook.com and you will be sent a link to join]
St Peter’s Church Codsall Wood
Thursday’s 10am Communion Service
Our 10.00am service will continue as usual online as well as in the church. If you wish to book seats for either service, you will need to:
On a piece of paper put your name and how many seats [it must be people from your social bubble] and your contact telephone number
State which service you wish to attend either St. Nicholas 10.00am or St Peter’s Thursday 10.00am
Place the application in the Green Box at the side of the vicarage [clearly marked]
This must be done by Thursday at 5.00pm. If you have a place, you will be contacted by one of our Wardens to confirm your seats by 5pm Saturday evening.
You will need to wear a mask throughout the service and as always ask you not to attend if you are not feeling well.
