Children throughout the school observed a 2 minute silence this week and there was a definite sense of reverence around the building. In classes the children enjoyed lots of remembrance linked activities. Here are some of the activities from Year 3, where children wrote prayers and reflections for their newly named reflection tree, as well as creating some super wool weave poppies. I enjoyed a visit from some of 3P today to show me what they had been working hard on!
