Latest Covid-19 stats for Staffordshire
The Covid case rate is measured on the number of cases per 100,000 of population. The case rate in Staffordshire has increased this week to 460.3, and remains higher than the West Midlands average of 406.9 and the England average of 437.6. Please be vigilant for symptoms as well as general unwellness in your child. For those that are able and willing carrying out regular LFTs with your child will help us to minimise children coming into school who are positive with Covid-19.
We have organised all classes in school back into rows as an additional measure and use the C02 monitors provided to ensure safe ventilation levels alongside a safe working temperature. As the temperature has become considerably colder over the weekend, please do ensure your child/children have warm socks, vests and or base layers etc under school uniform too. Please also ensure your child has a suitable Winter coat for school and gloves and a hat. As per last week’s newsletter please do not send your child to school with a scarf.
