St. Nicholas First School has an admission policy, in accordance with Local Authority guidelines. School places are allocated according to the criteria agreed within the co-ordinated scheme for Admissions to Schools in Staffordshire. Guidance on how to

Children will be admitted to the Nursery Class part time, in September of the academic year in which they become four, and into Reception in September of the academic year in which they become five. (Please note that admission to St Nicholas’ Nursery Class does not automatically guarantee a place in Reception.)
If you decide to apply for a place for your child, a school registration form should be completed and returned to the school together with your child’s birth certificate and proof of residence. Once a place has been allocated we have a comprehensive induction programme to enable parents to learn about us, and for children to feel happy and settled before starting school.
