Codsall Carnival - Saturday 9th June 2018 (08.06.18)
It is the 49th Village Carnival at Codsall Village Hall this Saturday the 9th June. It is organised by 1st Bilbrook Codsall Scout Group and they have, again, put a lot of effort into planning the day as it is their biggest fundraiser of the year.
There is an admission charge of £2 for an adult or 2 children. As with previous years the procession leaves Codsall Village Hall at midday to go through Codsall and Bilbrook. The floats will have lots of the local children on them from Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Cubs, Beavers and Scouts amongst other organisations.
There will be the usual stalls on the field which include food, toys, tombolas, coconut shy, bouncy castle and other skill games. There will be more stalls then previous years. The displays in the centre of the field include: a BMX stunt bike team, Scout and Guide Band, toy soldiers (band) and a dance academy.
It is always an enjoyable day and a good chance to catch up with friends and family.
