As a church school we work closely with Lichfield Diocese to continually develop and celebrate our Anglican and Christian distinctiveness. All diocesan schools undergo a Statutory Inspection.
As a school we will always notify you of school events and church events that will be of interest to you and your family. Rev Liz England and Mrs Caroline Seaton (Children's Worker) are regular visitors to our school and lead worship assemblies as well as St Nics@St Nics which is well attended by children and parents. Throughout their time in school children regularly visit the school church, not only for church calendar events such as Christmas and Easter, but also to learn more about Christianity and rites of passage and to meet up with members of the parish community.

We have a variety of services each Sunday, all of which you are very welcome to attend. The different services all have different styles of worship, so if you don't like one service, please do try another. We also regularly hold Special Services.
• 8am Holy Communion (BCP). A quiet, traditional service, which lasts about 30 minutes.
• 9:30am Holy Communion (CW). A service with robed choir and pipe organ. The service books are easy to follow and we have a mixture of traditional and modern hymns. Please stay afterwards for a drink and a chance to meet people.
• 11:15am The 11:15 Service An informal service open to all ages. (More information)
• 6:30pm Evensong (BCP). A traditional service with robed choir and pipe organ. Special services are also regularly held at this time.
Our daughter church, St Peter's in Codsall Wood, has a Communion service (BCP) at 9am on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month, which you are also welcome to attend.
We also have a number of mid-week services at St Nicholas':
o Monday to Friday daily 9-9:20am Daily Prayer. Prayers and readings to begin the day - all welcome.
o Monday 7-7:15pm Quiet prayer. If there is anything worrying you or you just want to pray quietly then please come to this service.
o Thursday 10:15am Holy Communion (BCP). A spoken, traditional service, which lasts about 30 minutes.
